The name Moonroot Grove comes from a few of my favorite things: the moon, plants, and the feeling of being safe.
The Moon is Cancer’s ruling planet, and as a Cancer Sun and Cancer Rising, it felt like a pretty obvious fit. Plants have always been close to my heart, too, and I love the idea of rooting into yourself. I think people are a lot like plants. Not every season of growth is visible. Sometimes we’re blooming, sometimes we’re growing stronger roots, and sometimes we’re dormant — resting and gathering what we need before the next season begins.
And then there’s the Grove.
Nature has always been one of the places where I feel most at home. There’s something about being outside, surrounded by trees, that makes me slow down and breathe a little deeper. It feels safe. Grounding. Quiet.
That’s the feeling I wanted Moonroot Grove to have.
A place where you can slow down, get curious about yourself, and take a closer look at what’s beneath the surface. A place to explore where you’ve been, where you are now, where you’re going, and who you’re becoming along the way. 💕
I’ve always been a pretty curious person. I like understanding why things are the way they are — why we think the way we do, why certain patterns seem to follow us, and why some seasons of life feel easy while others seem to ask a little more from us.
Astrology gave me a way to explore those questions.
I don’t see astrology as a way to predict your future or tell you who you’re supposed to be. I see it as a tool for understanding yourself a little better. Your birth chart can give you language for things you may already know about yourself — how you process emotions, how you communicate, how you connect with people, what comes naturally to you, and where you might tend to get stuck.
And sometimes, seeing those things reflected back to you can be really powerful.
Our Natal Charts can also give us a starting point for the deeper stuff: our patterns, our relationships, our challenges, and the parts of ourselves that we’re still learning to understand.
When I’m not studying astrology, you’ll probably find me taking care of my plants, hanging out with my dogs, spending time with loved ones, or finding an excuse to get outside. I love camping, yoga, music, and pretty much any musical instrument I can get my hands on.
I’m a Cancer Sun, Libra Moon, and Cancer Rising — which probably explains at least a little bit of my love for home, family, music, art, and finding meaning in the little things.
I believe astrology should feel grounded, compassionate, and personal.
I’m not here to tell you that your chart means you’re destined for a certain career, relationship, or life path. Your chart doesn’t define you, and it certainly doesn’t make your choices for you. You are a whole person with your own experiences, choices, circumstances, and free will.
Instead, I want to help you look at your chart with curiosity.
We can explore the different pieces, notice the patterns and connections, and see what resonates with your own experience. Sometimes your chart will put words to something you’ve always felt but never quite knew how to explain. Sometimes it might give you a completely new perspective.
And sometimes, something just won’t resonate — and that’s okay, too.
My readings are meant to be collaborative, not prescriptive. You know yourself better than anyone else! I’m not here to tell you who you are. I’m here to give you another lens to look through, ask better questions, and maybe help you uncover something you hadn’t noticed before. 💞
At the end of the day, that’s what Moonroot Grove is about:
Rooting into your story, so you can grow into yourself. 🌱
